IJAAS is publishing 2 issues per year per volume. The accepted articles along with abstract will appear online in PDF as per schedule. There are NO Submission/Handling charges, and the articles are published online with full open access. Further, the corresponding author will get one complimentary PDF copy of the Journal.

Special Issues

Any researchers can submit a proposal for organizing special issues, but the final decision will be from the editorial office, special issues or proceedings are also considered from Conferences and Seminars. The organizing secretary can request for special issues.

Authors should certify that their manuscripts are their original work. Plagiarism, Duplicate, Data Fabrication and Falsification, and Redundant Publications are forbidden. The authors must ensure that the work and/or words of others are appropriately cited or quoted and identify all sources used in the creation of their manuscripts if the author used the work and/ words of others. All Authors certified that the manuscript has not previously been published and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Author Guidelines

Papers submitted to the ‘International Journal of Agricultural and Applied Sciences (IJAAS)’ will be subjected into “Double Blind Peer Reviewes”. On the basis of referee's comments, author(s) will be asked by the editor to revise the paper / answer the queries. Members as well as non members of the Agricultural & Environmental Technology Development Society (AETDS) can publish article in this journal. Original Research Articles are accepted on the understanding that the work described is original and has not been published elsewhere and that the authors have obtained necessary authorization for publication of the material submitted. At present one or two Review articles will be accepted for publication in each issue.

Subject Matter:

Articles on all aspects of agricultural and life sciences will be accepted.


It should be in clear concise English, typewritten in double space with at least 2.5 cm margins. Full research paper should not exceed 15 typed pages including tables and figures and should contain abstract with 4-5 key words, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, acknowledgment and references. Short notes, not exceeding 6 typed pages, may also be divided into different sections with a short abstract. MS Word file is preferred. Submitted papers will be acknowledged. Journal reserves the right to accept/reject and modify the articles into research article/ research note. Review articles should be up to 30 pages in the prescribed format including at least 80 references with a maximum limit of 120 references in the bibliography format of the standard of journal. Authorship of the Paper:

To maintain the standard of the authorship of research documentation, it is suggested to leading/corresponding author that the authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution or interpretation of the reported study. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. The others contributors who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, should be acknowledged or listed as contributors. One author should be designated as corresponding author. The corresponding author should ensure that no inappropriate co-authors are included in the paper, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.

Corresponding author:

The corresponding author is fully responsible for any disputes arising due to the publication manuscript.

Title page:

The title should be crisp and clearly indicates the contents of the article. Bold all words having four or more than four letters, Capitalize after colon and en dash. This should be followed by name(s) of the author(s), affiliation, and mailing address including e-mail of the corresponding author.


A brief informative abstract should follow on the second page of the manuscript. It should clearly bring out the scope of the work and its salient features. It should be single paragraph of not more than 300 words.


The abstract should be followed by the important key words (not more than five) of the article, which can be included in various indexes.


It should be brief, crisp and introduce the work in clear terms. Key references related to the work must be cited.

Materials and Methods:

Standard and already reported method must be clearly given or cited. Any modification of the original method must be duly highlighted. There is no need of details of statistical methodology in this section, except the original paper of statistics. This section may be subtitled for clarity. Use standard abbreviations of the various units. ISI units should be used for measurements.

Results and Discussion:

This section is the core of research article; you have to emphasize your work with facts and citation. It can also be subtitled for clarity. Results and discussion should be combined. Salient results must be highlighted and discussed with related works. A brief conclusion of the research finding and future line of work may be given at the end.

Figures and Structures:

Structure drawings, graphs and diagrams should be given in JPEG format separately and also placed in the text preferably through MS Word. Figures/structures must be numbered with figure numbers like Fig.1, Fig 2, and their approximate position in the text indicated. It is author's responsibility to provide suitable figures and drawings.


Tables should be typed on separate sheets and numbered consecutively within the text in Arabic numbers. They should bear a descriptive short heading in lower case, which starts with the word "Table". Their place in the text should be indicated.


style="text-align:justify;"Relevant references shall be quoted under each section and must be cited in full in the reference section. References to unpublished work and abstract citation may be avoided. The following style should be followed:

An author should not in general publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

Editorial board of International Journal of Agricultural and Applied Sciences (IJAAS) considers very seriously about plagiarism in manuscripts received. In case of any allegations of plagiarism brought to the notice of the Editor, it will be investigated properly. It will be exposed if found true. A notice of the discovery will be included in the corresponding issue itself.
